Castle Cottage sits on the Renvyle peninsular on the west coast of Connemara, north of Letterfrack, which is located on the N59 between Clifden and Westport. Its nearest villages are Tully (5 km), Tully Cross (6 km) and Letterfrack (11 km). Its nearest towns are Clifden (24 km), Westport (51 km) and Galway (90 km).
